Investment House Namibia (Pty) Ltd (“IHN”), a member of the Namibian Stock Exchange, has been in operation since 1984, servicing the Namibian market with a range of financial services and products for private, corporate and institutional clients.

In 2001, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., our previous Dutch holding company, decided to withdraw from the emerging markets (including South Africa and Namibia.

The Namibian operation was taken over by local management with effect from 1 February 2001. The name of the company in Namibia was changed from ABN AMRO Securities (Namibia) (Pty) Ltd to Investment House Namibia (Pty) Ltd . The PSG Group Ltd of South Africa has since acquired an equity stake in this business. The PSG Group is a well-known listed financial services group in Southern Africa, with a market capitalisation of almost N$7 billion.
